Frosty Burger in Pine Valley

This place has been here forever, love the soft serve ice cream.

Cheap prices and decent food not bad. I like the French fries the burger was kind of greasy but not bad. Free refills on drinks.

The destination just as good as the journey! This is my go to spot after I take my motorcycle through the twisty roads of pine valley. After seeing all those mountains and open spaces frosty burger fills that last void of mine which is hunger. Their food is great and definitely worth to go out of your way to get to.

Been coming here for years. Their burgers are perfection. Nothing crazy, just a well made burger. We also love their shakes and sundaes. They use good ice cream and the consistency is just right.

If you can ever manage to actually order it's an Awesome old fashioned Burger Joint! But SLOWEST SERVICE EVER...45 minutes from end of line to actual food. Tried to order today and there was a huge line and no one even at the window, just some clueless woman outside messing around with umbrellas for ages.... No thanks, went to the diner up the street and had just as good burger, onion rings and shake in 15 minutes... Downgraded to 3 stars only, tried to go back at 4pm same day and still a ridiculously long line just to try and order.... Open more windows than one.... Great place to stop after hiking in Mt. Laguna. Awesome Chicken sandwich, onion rings and chocolate malt!

One Iconic places in Pine Valley Can't not stop here for a milkshake when passing thru.Have been coming here since the 1980's..The food is OK.

I visit this spot a lot since I work right next to it. I love how their customer service is always good and they keep the place well kept regularly. Prices are reasonable and they serve sizeable portions.

Ordered the cheeseburger + chocolate malt, it was freakin great. Totally worth the 3-hour trek from Los Angeles. Very scenic country drive.

I went here one time cause we were coming home from a failed vacation/birthday present and out of the whole trip this was the one thing that keeps me going is knowing some day I can go back and get one of those juicy delicious burgers 😛💦

I love this spot! They prepare awesome meals, their menu is nice, The cook in that place is very experienced, I love very much trying all their dishes. The food is consistently of high class, the service towards the guests is helpful. I often eat in this restaurant and I not even once was unsatisfied. I recommend it to all.

Great place to stop for a bite during a motorcycle ride. Old school vibe. Great staff. A slice of Americana with burgers and shakes. I usually grab a burger sit and enjoy the nice scenery. Bald eagles pump your gas for you at the place across the street.

Food is decent, the line is abysmally SLOW everytime I go here. Staff needs better trained or needs more staff. Iconic place would do better if more effort was shown.

Super good burger. Wow! I had the mountain cheese burger and loved it. With a drink it comes to about $15. A little more than I expected but did NOT disappoint.

It was ok. Food was ok, fries were good. My order wasn’t prepared properly. I asked for my fish sandwich to be bunless & wrapped in lettuce & it wasn’t. There are no restrooms to wash your hands. Only outside seating. They hav the monopoly on fast food joints in Pineview since they’re the only one!

What a great gem in the SD mountains! Great to go out for a drive and end up here with all of their sweet treats.

Everyone seems to be very happy with the quality of the food here- the soft serve ice cream cones are so generous it makes me nervous wondering how many can eat theirs without a melting mess

I love this place. I used to take the kids there when we'd come back from Mt. Laguna. Now I go just for me. Wonderful shakes and awesome nachos. I don't know how they make them better than any others, but they do.

I will never eat here again. Over$6 for a tiny little burger and $6 for a shake in a 12 ounce cup. If I'm going to pay that much for a burger, no fries, and a small shake I'm going to go to Alpine Brewery. To top it off I was the third person in line and the 2 in front of me had already ordered and I waited 20 minutes to get my overpriced meal.

I love stopping bye when I'm in the area just to get an ice cream come. Easy to find. Decent prices.

Service was very quick for the place being packed on a Friday night. Food was worth more than we paid, as far as I'm concerned. Great experience, twice. There will be a third, for sure.

Super tasty local spot - fair pricing and large portions. Classic American food, Mexican, and ice cream treats are what you will find here. The fries were the only thing I didn't like so I would recommend getting something else (because it's all delicious). Staff was friendly and there were tons of spots to park and eat (outside dining was all that I could see). Wheelchair accessible.

Nothing like a good old hamburger stand where the meat tastes like meat and ice cream is cold.

We had a pineapple malt and it was delicious 😋 😋 Staff were very friendly.

Honestly one of the best milkshakes you can have. The ham urger was simple and traditional. It's so beautiful to eat outside in pine valley.

Heading back from a long when's in Tucson, stopped in for some ice cream. Hot day, had to eat fast. This place is located in Pine Valley, Ca. Small community off the 8. I have been coming here for years. Staff is super friendly and works hard to make you feel at home. Great big portion on the soft serve cones. We had ours dipped in chocolate. They serve burgers, fires, and other stuff as well. I highly recommend the fries!

Burgers are great and fries are very well served.

Would pass on an overpriced frozen burger. I’ve had better, probably would not be coming back. They’re not cleaning after every customer who sits and eat at their tables. Only giving two star because I enjoyed the scenery other than that I would opt out for Ice cream or something small and don’t take a lot of effort. The customer service could also be better.

Classic homemade taste! Not as greasy as other fast food places. Made when you order. And the milkshakes and malts are to die for!.....well maybe not then you couldn't enjoy them! The Ortega burger is phenomenal!!

I come to this marvelous place many times because I like the special atmosphere that is exist in this restaurant. The staff is extremely loving and experienced. The service is pretty rapid. Needless to say, the food they serve is outstanding. I visited more than once and I was always happy. The expense is reasobable. I suggest this place to all my friends.

Random stop and one of the best burgers I've had in a long time.. Shakes were good too.

We stopped in this spot for a snack and I asked for a double vanilla cup (I though I would receive 2 scoops) but damn, they gave me this monster instead, doesn't look so big in the picture but it was a monster (the cup was a pint capacity) Nachos are very well served and delicious. Very friendly staff.
